About the role

justteachers are supporting a primary school in Coventry to recruit a Year 2 Class Teacher. This is a full-time role with an April 2026 start, fixed term until the end of the academic year. The school has a strong KS1 team, a well-developed phonics programme and supportive leadership, offering regular CPD and collaborative planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging KS1 lessons
• Prepare pupils for end of Key Stage assessments
• Track and monitor progress
• Work collaboratively with colleagues

Pre-requisites

• Qualified Teaching Status or equivalent
• Proven experience in Primary Education
• A minimum of two references that cover the past two years, including last employer. Ideally references will be education or school-based references
