Summary

The Yard Worker is responsible for all duties related to truck movement within the yard. Primary duties would include shuttling trucks, jumpstarting trucks, forklifting trucks, fueling trucks with diesel and DEF, staging equipment and minor technical repairs/duties such as disconnecting and reconnecting battery cables.  

Education and Experience

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.


2. Experience with operating vehicle and heavy equipment in a transportation environment preferred.


3. A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required.


4. Become forklift certified through the ATS onsite training program.


5. Must be able to operate all yard related equipment.


6. Must be self- motivated, able to multi-task and work independently.


7. Must be a team player, amenable to a variety of work projects and work conditions...
