Purpose of the Job

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: To supervise and assist the team in the safe execution of all mechanical activities.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent is essential.
• Mechanical Trade Certificate is essential.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Winder Artisan is essential.

Competencies

COMPETENCIES:

• Demonstrate knowledge pertaining to basic health and safety principles in a workplace.
• Identify engineering materials, their characteristics and applications and common metal tests used in engineering.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of winders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Problem-Solving techniques.
