Specialize as a Well Pump Technician with BW Gold at the Blackwater Mine in British Columbia. This role includes servicing and installing pumps with a unique two weeks on, two weeks off rotation.
As a Well Pump Installer, you will support the infrastructure team under the Supervisor while focusing on the maintenance and troubleshooting of water well pumps. Your tasks will range from simple manual installations to operating heavy lifting equipment for complex jobs. A thorough understanding of mechanical systems and local regulations is crucial for ensuring operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lower pumps and pipes into wells using derricks and hoists
• Connect water lines effectively to various systems
• Inspect and maintain existing pumping systems
• Diagnose and repair malfunctioning components
• Test systems thoroughly before operation
Requirements:
• BC well installer certification required
• Minimum of 3,000 hours of installation experience
