Welding Engineer

Responsibilities

• Leading welding projects.
• Analysing engineering designs & reviewing technical specifications for welding requirements.
• Overseeing a team of welders.
• Reviewing welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
• Managing welding procedure qualifications and generating welding procedures to help the manufacturing and welding teams: PQR & WPS.
• Managing welders qualification and their renewal: WPQT.
• Conducting failure analyses and root cause analyses on welding issues to proceed with continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Degree in welding engineering such as IWE (International Welding Engineer).
• 5 to 10 Years minimum experience in welding engineering.
• Solid leadership skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
