Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and sketches
• Setting up welding equipment and selecting the correct materials
• Conducting tests on welds
• Repairing metal components
• Monitoring and maintaining welding equipment
• Inspecting finished products for quality assurance
• Ensuring that all safety protocols are followed

Qualifications

• Prior experience in welding, preferably with mild steel, stainless steel or aluminum
• A certification in welding is highly preferred but not required
