Start Date: Immediate

Role: Welder

Location: Parham, Suffolk

Hours: Monday‑Friday 07:00‑16:30 (basic 40‑hour week)

Contract: Permanent position subject to a 3‑month probation

Pay Rate: £15ph+ (competitive, negotiable up to ~£16 per hour depending on experience)

Duties

• MIG welding of mild & stainless steel, 1.5mm–10mm thick
• Welding a variety of products
• Basic welder–fabricator work (jigs, fixtures, drilling) as sub‑contracted orders are pre‑cut and vary by job

Candidate Requirements

• Ability to read technical drawings
• Proficient in hand and power tools
• Experience in MIG welding
• TIG welding desirable but not essential
• Diploma / NVQ or apprenticeship in Welding / Fabrication
