Duties and Responsibilities:
Check with department supervisor on machine assignment and job assignment.Discuss with current welder from preceding shift about the machine’s performance and any possible difficulties encountered during the course of the shift.Set-up welding equipment in accordance with specified set-up procedures and within acceptable set-up requirements.Fabricate welding jigs when necessary.Create inspection checklist for first-time jobs.Conduct and document a first-piece inspection and obtain approval from Quality Control before proceeding.Perform adjustments on machines and/or programs as needed, based upon results of first-piece inspections.Weld parts, manually or robotically, according to specifications and within acceptable production requirements.Unload and package parts according to EIMCo standards and customer requirements.Comp...
