GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Drives a heavy duty diesel powered dump truck used in hauling materials. Hauls dirt, rock, aggregates, non-agitated concrete or other material.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines.Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.May service and make necessary adjustments for proper operation of equipment.Make necessary adjustment to equipment as needed.
