Volunteer Board Director – Treasurer (CPA)

State of the Snowpack (SOTS) is seeking an experienced financial professional to join our volunteer Board of Directors as Treasurer.

This is an exciting time to join SOTS. During the 2025/26 season, our community network expanded from four to ten chapters across British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec, supporting 40 free public avalanche awareness events that welcomed more than 4,400 in-person attendees while reaching thousands more through livestreams.

SOTS provides the framework, resources, operational support, and national coordination that enable local communities to deliver professional, community-led avalanche awareness programming for free to the public.
