The Vice President, Revenue Cycle is responsible for the management of the Springfield Clinic’s accounts receivable to optimize reimbursement in a compliant fashion. Scope of responsibility includes Patient Accounting functions such as billing, collections, account follow-up, denials, cash management/application, revenue integrity and charge capture and prior authorizations; and Health Information Management functions such as coding, document management, release of information, coding auditing and education and EHR record integrity. Serves as a change agent in a constantly changing and growing multi-specialty practice and drives process and systems supporting the change and growth. Provides subject matter expertise related to the development of a compliant, comprehensive, professional revenue cycle division.
