At TIVS we always aim to have our RVTs use the full range of their skills. Our clinic prides ourselves on a 'Team Approach' to medicine as well as decision making for the hospital. We want everyone to know that their voice matters.
NVA Canada’s VT Practicum Program offers final‑year veterinary technician students the chance to gain real‑world experience in a supportive, dynamic environment. Students work alongside experienced veterinarians and RVTs to develop clinical skills in patient care, laboratory procedures, anesthesia, surgical assistance, radiology, and more. They will also enhance communication abilities with medical teams and clients, preparing for a successful career as an RVT.
