Position Details

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of three years of baseball coaching experience

  • Must be able to design and implement short term and long term goals for the program

  • Design a daily and weekly practice schedule with specific goals for team and individual development

  • Knowledgeable of the fundamentals with the ability to teach and demonstrate fundamentals to youth through varsity age levels

  • Available for involvement with summer baseball camps and player development

  • Become an active member of the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association (MHSBCA)

  • Must model appropriate behavior, promoting at all times the social, emotional, and moral well-being of CPS student-athletes

  • Effectively communicate with players, parents, and administration

  • Must be certified in First Aid and CPR by the start of the 2027 season
