Machine Operation: Monitor and control automated production equipment such as edgers, trimmers, conveyors, and other mill systems.
Material Handling: Move, cull, stack, and roughcut boards; load and offbear lumber by hand or machinery.
Quality Assurance: Inspect lumber for defects, dimensional accuracy, miscuts, and moisture.
Equipment Maintenance Support: Perform routine checks, clear jams, lubricate parts, and assist with some maintenance and mechanical repairs.
Safety & Cleanliness: Follow OSHA requirements, wear required PPE, clear sawdust/bark/debris regularly, and adhere to lockout policies.
Qualifications
