The USV System Assistant Engineer is responsible for the pre-sea, operational, and post-sea technical readiness of Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs), operator consoles, and mission payloads. This role is hands-on and operationally focused, ensuring vessels and systems are fully functional prior to deployment and properly checked after operations. The engineer will work onsite at customer premises and is required to support weekend operations on a rotational basis.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pre-Sea Checks – Vessel & Systems Perform vessel machinery pre-sea checks, including: Powering up vessel electrical systems Starting engines and generators Powering and verifying onboard servers and control systems Verify system readiness prior to deployment according to established checklists and procedures
