Oversee and monitor daily TBM excavation, ring building, backfill grouting, and alignment control to ensure progress meets project specifications and timeline
Review and analyze TBM data logs and parameters including face pressure, torque, and advance rate to identify and mitigate ground settlement and face instability risks
Interpret geotechnical instrumentation monitoring reports to support risk mitigation during tunnelling operations
Enforce strict compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations specific to underground tunnelling and compressed air works
Prepare detailed daily and weekly tunnelling progress reports to track project status
Collaborate with the Main Contractor to identify and resolve on-site technical challenges promptly
Required competencies and certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field
