Trust Registrar in Cardiology

Trust Specialist Registrar (ST3-ST7) Maternity leave cover. Cross site working is expected.

A busy cardiology team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust, including Northwick Park and Ealing Hospital wards, coronary care, catheter lab, and heart failure service.

Main duties of the job

• Assessment and treatment of patients admitted to the Cardiology department under direct supervision of a consultant.
• Training and gaining experience in coronary angiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, echocardiography and stress echocardiography (TOE).
• Involvement in outpatient activities, including one-stop pathways for comprehensive assessment and follow-up, and development of specialist interests such as heart failure.
