Job Description
Reporting to the Transport Manager, the position includes the following responsibilities:
Sydney/Parkes/Sydney shuttle work and local business collections. Various shifts from Monday to Saturday. Travelling to various customers sites and preparing trucks to be unloaded/loaded, opening of rear doors (use of ratchet straps/opening curtains or gates when required). Effective time management to ensure timeslots are met Securing and restraining loads in a safe manner as per operational requirements. In line with company standards and government regulations. Performing vehicle pre-start checks. Reporting any defects / safety concerns to supervisor – Both within MT Data environment and manually.
