  • Requires utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.
  • Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment before patient studies.
  • Injects patients with radioactive material as per physician's order following prescribed protocol.
  • Observes all department documentation policies including logs, manuals, charge documents, and reporting equipment problems.
  • Performs quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests following radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principle.
  • Maintains, develops, and retrieves patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.
