Job DetailsRequires utilization of appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure quality diagnostic CT images.
Performs daily quality control calibration checks on all equipment before patient studies.
Injects patients with radioactive material as per physician's order following prescribed protocol.
Observes all department documentation policies including logs, manuals, charge documents, and equipment problem reporting.
Performs quality control, quality assurance, and safety tests following radiation safety guidelines (ALARA principle).
Maintains, develops, and retrieves patient films and electronic data for Radiologist interpretation.
Orders patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses 1-day prior to use.
