Transport Operator (CB09)

Stead House, Darlington – Night Shift 10pm - 6am (based on PM Shift). Work 5/7 pattern with regular weekend and some lone working.

Typical Day In This Role Includes

• Ensure all drivers issued with correct delivery instructions and activities, debrief drivers after every trip and deliver feedback to the appropriate department
• Optimize all resources available
• Work closely with the warehouse operations function ensuring seamless loading and dispatch procedure
• Liaise with the planning team and provide information and recommendations where required
• Provide constructive feedback to the driver management team on performance and behaviour of drivers
• Ensure vehicles and trailers kept within service schedules, booking all required maintenance and repairs with the relevant workshop
