**SUMMARY**
This position is responsible for converting written material from one source language' (English) into the 'target language' (Spanish), ensuring that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible.
The target language is normally the translator's native language but may require a mix of translation, localization and copy writing, where the text is culturally and linguistically adapted to suit the reader.
Translator will work on: educational, technical, legal and any other document assigned.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Translate original material to the target language.
- Reading through original material and rewriting it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained.
