Assist in performing testing of marine fuels, lubricating oils, and other petroleum products in accordance with ISO, ASTM, and other relevant international standard test methods.
Carry out daily quality control checks and maintain laboratory data records and worksheets.
Work closely with Laboratory Technicians in the development of testing procedures, operational protocols, and in-house methods.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and housekeeping of chemicals and glassware, and assist in maintaining laboratory and testing equipment.
Support procurement activities by liaising with suppliers on purchasing matters when required.
Ensure laboratory safety procedures and equipment are properly maintained and comply with required standards.
