Selectek has an immediate need for a Traffic Control Drafter for our telecommunications client in the Kansas City, KS area. The Traffic Control Plan Drafter (TCP) will be responsible for creating Traffic Control Plans and Maps in support of fiber network builds for city, county, and state highways.


This will require candidates be knowledgeable in city, county, state, and local municipality’s encroachment permits, traffic control, and specialty permits (e.g., UPRR, Caltrans, Forest Service, BLM), easements, right of way, and various environmental permits. The position will require that candidates have detailed understanding of easements and right of ways as well as basic knowledge of traffic engineering principles as it pertains to temporary traffic control.
