We are working with a global commodity trading house that is looking to hire an operator to join its team in Singapore.
Key Responsibilities / Tasks - You will be responsible for managing trade operations for the company’s dry bulk raw materials trading business (steam coal, coking coal, pet coke, metals)
- Work closely with the trading, finance, trade execution, chartering and accounting functions to ensure a smooth end to end process
- Draft and process contracts and documentation for shipping and letters of credit (sales and purchase)
- Calculate laytime and negotiate demurrage settlements
- Report to VP of Operations / Regional Operations Manager
