Responsibilities
Responsible for operating the Tower Crane in a safe manner in accordance with the Workplace Safety and Health (Operation of Cranes) Regulations 2011
Work closely with signal team to ensure compliance with the WSH Act and its subsidiary legislations, including the provisions of the WSH (Construction) Regulations and WSH (Operation of Cranes) Regulations in daily lifting operations.
Able to work from height to ascertain whether the ground conditions are safe for any lifting operations and report this to the liftingsupervisor.
Perform pre-work inspection on the crane as required by the manufacturer’s handbook to ensure that it is safe for operation and report any malfunction of the crane.
