DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Define comprehensive test strategies and qualification plans for optical connector products, covering electrical, optical, mechanical, and environmental performance per industry standards (e.g., IEEE, Telcordia GR-468, GR-1435, MSA).

2.Conduct key measurements including insertion loss (IL), return loss (RL), polarization-dependent loss (PDL), extinction ratio (ER), jitter, and eye diagram analysis using high-speed test equipment such as optical power meters, OTDRs, BERTs, and oscilloscopes.

3.Build and maintain automated test stations using scripting languages like Python, LabVIEW, or MATLAB to improve test efficiency, repeatability, and data throughput in lab and production environments.

4.Use statistical tools (e.g., JMP, Power BI) to analyze large datasets, identify failure trends, and produce detailed test reports for design reviews, product certification, and customer submissions.
