About the Job

This position is limited to 67 or fewer days of work in a calendar year. The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities occasionally needs to hire employees on a Temporary basis throughout the year. These positions perform a variety of nonacademic and/ or academic work responsibilities in a Temporary work schedule. This does not constitute a posting for vacancies, but establishes a pool of applicants should openings occur during the 2026-2027 fiscal year (July - June). Applicants will be selected from this pool on an as-needed basis. Appointments are based on need, funding, and performance. At the discretion of the supervisor, H-1B sponsorship may be provided to those who currently hold a valid visa and are present in the United States.
