Job Description & Requirements Manages the daily issuance and receipt of tools, equipment, consumables and expendables that are maintained within the tool room. Keeping production equipment up and running.
Responsibilities - Process the daily sign in/out of tools, test equipment, expendable materials, and consumable materials.
- Performs cyclic inventories of tools and equipment issued from the tool room.
- Inspect tools and kits for completeness in accordance with provided inventories.
- Identify broken tools, notify supervisor of tool orders, repair and replace tools in tools boxes and in the tool room.
- Submit items as directed to calibration and return them to the tool room as completed.
- Maintain stock locations and levels.
- Work closely with the Property Book section to maintain the sections Hand Receipt of issued items.
