General Summary:
Responsible for mechanical maintenance of Rolling Mill equipment to minimize downtime, optimize production and ensure safe, reliable, and cost‑effective operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance of Rolling Mill equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
- Inspect equipment to ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety regulations.
- Support superiors in heavy section mill maintenance activities and coordinate with other departments.
- Lead and guide a team of Technicians/Fitters during maintenance work.
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality and environmental policies.
