            Responsibilities Set‑up and operate special purpose equipment, conventional lathe/mill, and/or numerical control (NC) machines and machining‑centers. 
Fabricate metallic and nonmetallic parts that meet high‑quality machine standards. 
Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
Apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD & T) principles. 
Use algebra and geometry concepts to calculate and set controls for machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth and angle of cut. 
Retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine control media through command entry. 
Qualifications Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field with at least one year of relevant working experience. 
Ability to select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials on machines.
