Hold responsibility for the technical condition and seaworthiness of assigned bulk carrier vessels, in line with class society and statutory requirements
Organise dry docking, repair works, and maintenance schedules to reduce vessel downtime
Track vessel performance and fuel consumption through onboard systems and AMOS or equivalent planned maintenance software
Approve technical budgets, expenditures, and purchase requisitions for vessels under management
Liaise closely with classification societies, flag state authorities, and port state control to keep vessel certification valid
Conduct scheduled ship visits and inspections, with particular attention to cargo hold condition, hatch cover integrity, and cargo gear systems
