Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement IFRS 17
- Prepare and process commission and broker reports
- Reconcile both premium and claims bank accounts
- Attend to insurer and broker queries
- Assist and prepare month-end reports
- Assist the team with other ad-hoc duties
- Assist with claims payments from time to time
Desired Experience & Qualifications
- Degree
- SAICA / SAIPA preferred
- Experience on IFRS 17 essential (not negotiable)
- Insurance technical accounting experience
- Ability to process premium collection, refund payments, returned debits, and allocate deposits received
- FAC experience will be an added advantage
- SAP experience will be an added advantage
