Barnet Council is seeking an experienced social work qualified practitioner with a strong background in management to oversee front‑line early help practitioners. The position is a part‑time job‑share role of 18 hours per week.
The role involves line‑managing early help practitioners, including providing regular supervision, practice development and allocation of work. The role also leads the oversight and allocation of casework between Early Help and Social Care, working closely with statutory social work teams, and requires regular file audits and quality assurance of Early Help assessments across the team.
You will join a strong management team and will have access to regular supervision, peer support and training.
Service delivery occurs across the borough from three 0‑19 hubs, using a whole‑family, multi‑agency approach to build resilience and offer timely support.
