DAVINGTON PRIMARY SCHOOL

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (30 hours per week). Experience of working with young people is desirable, alongside relevant training qualifications, although training support is provided to all staff.

The position may require working in any year group from Reception through to Year 6.

This requires you to be flexible, well organised and to work as a team with other Teaching Assistants and Class Teachers. You should be able to work creatively to support and extend children following our inclusive ethos.

Job Purpose: • Support individual children with their learning, through activities and interventions under the guidance of class teachers • To ensure successful lunchtime opportunities for the pupils through supervision and play-leading •To work alongside the whole school in promoting children’s well-being, ensuring their needs are recognised and provided for....
