Role Overview
You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder or Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. You will help them learn, develop their abilities and raise their self‑esteem.
Responsibilities
- Support pupils with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and SEMH needs in their learning and development.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and collaborate with colleagues to support each student.
- Plan and deliver effective teaching and learning activities that cater to individual needs.
- Use your experience and QTS to create an inclusive classroom that values diversity.
Qualifications
- Previous teaching experience and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience in Special Education, Careers in Care, Careers in Special Education, Working with Children, SEMH, SEN or ASD.
- Resilient, dedicated, and possessing a can‑do attitude.
