GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Newark Central School District Teacher Aide will provide educational assistance under the general supervision of a licensed or certified teacher

JOB DUTIES:


+ Work with individual students or groups of students on special non-instructional projects

+ Assist students in the use of available instructional resources, and assist in the development of instructional materials

+ Attend and participate in team meetings for the development of programs to better meet individual student needs

+ Assist in adaptive daily living and self help skills (e.g. changing diapers, toilet training, tying shoes)
