Our client, a leading financial institution, is seeking a Tax Specialist for a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension.
This is a hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in office, with occasional additional on-site days as needed. This role supports high-value Estate, Trust, and terminal tax filings and offers exposure to specialized post-mortem tax planning.
Responsibilities Collect required information from clients and internal/external sources to prepare complex income tax returns. Prepare and file T1 personal, terminal returns, GREs, T3 Trust and Estate returns, including rights or things. Perform calculations, complete tax schedules, and organize documentation for complex filings.
