Our client, Canada's leading marine transportation and shipbuilding organization, is seeking a Tax Manager who will oversee all aspects relating to the company’s tax requirements.

Responsibilities :

• Tax Reporting & Filings: Prepare and analyze corporate and indirect tax reports, including annual, monthly, and periodic filings, while ensuring all submissions are accurate and completed on time.
• SR&ED Tax Credit Support: Assist with preparing the company’s annual Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax credit claim.
• Tax Provision Preparation: Prepare and review detailed tax provision working papers.
• Tax Systems & Controls: Maintain effective tax systems and internal controls, and coordinate tax accounting activities within the financial reporting team.
