The Tailor provides a personal service to each client specializing in modifications and adjustments.
The Tailor will complete repair work, and alterations, to suit a customer’s needs. The customer will then come back to the shop for a fitting and to see if further alterations are needed.
Key Responsibilities
Be able to communicate clearly and provide personal customer service.
Have the ability to work to deadlines.
Completing alterations to garments using a thread or sewing machine
Adapting and developing existing designs
Drawing patterns or altering existing patterns
Ironing garments
Perform other related duties as required.
Desired Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience as a tailor or similar role preferred.
