This role is responsible for analyzing customer requirements and developing comprehensive reliability engineering programs to meet defined reliability objectives. The position involves allocating quantitative reliability requirements to design teams, performing reliability predictions, and evaluating how projected product usage impacts overall system reliability. Key responsibilities include conducting failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), developing mathematical and computer models to predict and improve system performance, and identifying potential safety risks to support design improvements.
