**Description**

SAIC is seeking a  **Systems Engineer** for shipboard Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) major systems. This program will be part of a transformative venture, driving the future of next generation afloat mission effectiveness in response to evolving strategic and environmental demands.

This position is hybrid and the candidate must live within an hour of Pascagoula, MS.

**_This position is contingent upon award news, with anticipated funding in late 2026/early 2027._**

**Duties:**

+ Develop, update, and maintain project Systems Engineering documents including stage 4 and 5 test procedures, engineering block diagrams, and system manuals for shipboard C5ISR systems
+ Works with the multidisciplinary technical team to ensure successful shipboard industrial test procedures development and testing
