Summary The Supervisory Medical Administration Specialist is a management position located in Health Administration Service (HAS) and aligned under the Patient Processing and Benefits section. The incumbent has the responsibility to represent both the Medical Center Director and Chief, HAS on administrative matters occurring during other than normal hours of operations, weekend, holidays, evening and night (WHEN) tour of duty. Responsibilities This position is represents the Chief, HAS for administrative activities that occur on tour. Assists in planning and directing the administrative duties performed during nontraditional business hours at the Tampa VA Medical Center, Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs), Inpatient Wards, Community Living Center, Emergency Department, Outpatient Clinics and Specialty Clinics.
