Train the Firefighting Team (Fire Wardens from within): Design and execute fire drills, maintain fire suppression systems, and ensure clear evacuation routes in high-density storage areas.
Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into accidents or near-misses, identifying root causes (e.g., employee behavior or equipment failure) and implementing corrective actions.
Team Performance: Monitor and follow up on the performance of the OSH team and submit required performance reports to Supply Chain Management.
Policy Development: Establish and periodically update technical and administrative HSE policies and procedures to ensure the organization remains aligned with best practices.
Governmental Compliance: Ensure the DC complies with all state requirements to prevent violations, fines, or legal impositions regarding occupational safety and health.
