Key Responsibilities

• Lead refractory maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of smelter assets.
• Oversee installation, repair, and replacement of refractory linings in furnaces and associated equipment.
• Manage planning, procurement, and execution of refractory works during major shutdowns, rebrick campaigns, and project commissioning activities.
• Develop and implement refractory maintenance strategies to maximize asset performance and service life.
• Ensure compliance with all company standards, operating procedures, and statutory health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
• Drive contractor and vendor performance to achieve maintenance and operational objectives.
• Monitor refractory performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
