Providing leadership and establishing and maintaining effective and harmonious relationships with the on‑site staff.
Having thorough knowledge of the contract documents, subcontracts, drawings, specifications, and addenda, and assisting the Site or General Superintendent in developing on‑site procedures.
Planning and reviewing the site construction program with the Site or General Superintendent, including quality control, safety and environmental procedures, staging plans, equipment, and manpower.
Coordinating, directing, and monitoring the Field Engineer/Coordinator’s inspection activities of subcontractors, suppliers, and own forces.
Coordinating and directing, when necessary, the activities of inspection agencies and effecting remedial actions if required.
Establishing and retaining communications between subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
