POSITION: Substitute Teacher

LENGTH OF YEAR: Per Diem

LENGTH OF DAY: Will Follow Building Schedule

REPORTS TO: Building Administrator, District Administrator, or Department Supervisor/Director


Purpose: A substitute teacher will have the primary responsibility of promoting the education of the students of the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District in the absence of the regular teacher. Substitute teachers will guide students in attaining the knowledge and skills necessary for success during their educational career as well as preparing our students to become college and career ready after graduation. Substitute teachers will help students learn the skills and attitudes necessary to achieve a responsible, productive, and fulfilling life in our changing world.
