Subject Matter Expert (Wind Yield & GIS)

Experience - 9-15 Years

Strong domain knowledge in wind meteorology, wind flow modeling including wake effects, Energy yield assessment and uncertainty analysis.
Experience with onshore and offshore wind projects.
Good understanding of wind project development workflows.
Experience with large geospatial datasets, raster and vector data analysis, geographic coordinate systems and projections.
Experience supporting wind portfolio or pre-feasibility screening. Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tool skills such as WAsP, WindPRO, OpenWind
Provide expert guidance on wind resource assessment (WRA) methodologies and best practices.
Analyze and interpret
(a) Met mast and LiDAR data
(b) Long-term wind climate datasets (reanalysis, mesoscale)
(c) Energy yield assessments (AEP, P50/P90)
