About the Internship

Curious about a career in engineering consulting? Aurecon offers a paid 12‑week summer Internship Program in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch for students studying Mechanical Engineering. The program provides exposure to technical and advisory work, structured development, and access to experts across the business.

What the Internship Looks Like

Depending on the placement, you will work with one of the following teams:

• Energy & Industrial – support projects involving industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, energy infrastructure, and process systems that help keep industry moving.
• Buildings – contribute to the design of mechanical building services systems for hospitals, airports, commercial developments, educational facilities and other spaces where people live, work, learn, and connect.
