Roles & Responsibilities
To guarantee project completion on schedule, oversee and coordinate all shipyard steel production, sub-assembly, and block erection procedures.
Create and execute effective steel production schedules in accordance with overarching goals.
Verify that all steelworks adhere to client specifications, QA/QC criteria, and class society standards.
To increase output and reduce waste, allocate resources—including labor, supplies, and machinery—as efficiently as possible.
Collaborate closely with the HSE division to implement stringent safety procedures and cultivate a positive workplace culture.
Oversee and assess the work of steel supervisors and subcontractors.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical, marine, or naval architecture.
Minimum of eight to ten years of experience in a related managerial position in a shipyard.
